It’s been confirmed. We already knew that Caridee would appear on an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl. What we didn’t know were the circumstances surrounding the appearance. We do now.

Model Behavior

This has November sweeps written all over it… If the rumors are to be believed, America’s Next Top Model Winner Caridee English will guest star in a November episode of Gossip Girl as the girlfriend of an older man.

The Ratings Are In

And the reviews are mixed.  Gossip Girl was watched by 3.65 million people, less than the America’s Next Top Model lead-in audience (5.15 million).
However, rumor has it that these numbers are similar to those of its predecessor, One Tree Hill, in the same time slot.

Is Gossip Girl hotter than ANTM?

There were lots of rumors surrounding the move-up date of the premiere of Gossip Girl from September 26 to September 19…  With the announcement of the newest contestants for ANTM, CW seems to confirm that the premiere of ANTM was deliberately chopped to make room for Gossip Girl’s debut.
Hmm.
