Last week marked the New York City premiere of “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.” Check out TV Guide’s coverage, including an interview with my favorite GG star, Matthew Settle, about those racy ads:

It’s the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2″ extended trailer. This one is similar to the first one posted earlier in the year - but with a little bit more story.

It’s Blake Lively’s second appearance in the Sisterhood movies with costars America Ferrara (from Ugly Betty), Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel (from Gilmore Girls). Are you planning on seeing it?

I just saw the new trailer for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2… and I so want to see the movie!

Here’s my disclaimer: I didn’t see the first one. I didn’t think I’d like the sequel based on some commentary from friends about the original.

All of that said, it looks really good. The location shots are amazing - it makes me want to travel.

Blake Lively recently attended the “VIVA LA CURE” Benefit for EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund.

The Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, was established to support innovative research, education, and outreach for the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all women’s cancers. Prior CW actresses involved in the EIF effort include The OC’s Mischa Barton and Gilmore Girls‘ Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.
