Gossip Girl 1.02 “The Wild Brunch”

- The aftermath of the scandalous Kiss on the Lips party: Blair tells Serena she knows about her past betrayal with Nate, then turns a cold shoulder to her.
- Chuck hosts a fund-raiser brunch at the Palace, and Serena brings Dan to the event.
- Jenny and Blair become friends.
- We get to know the faculty at Constance Billiard Girls’ School.

- We meet Ms. Tedrow, the 40-year-old headmistress of Constance Billiard Girls School, and Mr. Prescott, the 50-year-old headmaster of St. Jude’s Boys School.

Gossip Girl 1.04 “Bad News Blair”
Air Date: October 10, 2007
- We meet Carter Baizen. Carter introduced Nate and Chuck to the bar scene and smoking joints.
- Carter may seem a changed man but he is not the person he appears to be now.
- We also meet art consultant Bex, who works for Lily and flirts with Rufus and French fashion photographer Henri, who works with Eleanor (Blair’s mom).
- Eleanor chooses Blair to be the new face of her clothing line. However, Serena shortly steals her thunder.
- Nate and Chuck have a boys’ weekend out - poker is involved.
- Dan and Serena are reminded that they come from different worlds.

- Lily hopes to provoke jealousy in Bart Bass by asking Rufus to be her date at an event.
- Blair sends Nate on a scavenger hunt but is upset to find that Nate still has feelings for Serena.

- Nate’s father goes to jail and bail is set at $1 million.
- Dan and Serena are reminded that they come from different worlds.

- Lily meets with her wedding planner, Claudette.
- Vanessa helps out Rufus, who is back on stage with his band.
- Georgina sets up a camera to have a genuine “van der Woodsen” sex tape.
- Dan searches for Serena and learns that she didn’t sleep in her bed the night before…
