Gossip Girl cast back on set

The Gossip Girl cast returned to the set this week to start filming season three.
Thankfully, our Gossip Girl guys, including Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick shaved before returning to set! In fact, Chace’s hair is completely different. His hair is pushed back and is a more styled it seems.
I wonder what Chuck Bass will be doing this season? He’s always up to mischief so it should be interesting now that he’s out of high school. The world is practically at his feet.

Gossip Girl’s Amanda Setton promotes CupcakeStop.com

Amanda Setton, who plays “mean girl” Penelope on Gossip Girl, shows her “sweeter” side while posing for CupcakeStop.com in New York City on June 3. 
CupcakeStop prides itself on being NYC’s first mobile gourmet cupcake shoppe.
Some of the cupcakes on the menu include triple chocolate, oreo crumb, red velvet and psychedelic tie dye.
Specialty cupcakes (available on certain days) include items like peanut butter and jelly cupcakes and cappuccino cupcakes.

They also sell coffee, tea and other beverages to accompany your sweet treat.

Chace Crawford scruffy on ‘Twelve’ movie set

Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford was spotted sporting a scruffier look on the Twelve movie set in Central Park in NYC on Tuesday.
Twelve also stars Kiefer Sutherland, 50 Cent, Ellen Barkin, Rory Culkin and Emma Roberts.
According to Twelve’s IMDB page, the plot is about a young drug dealer who watches as his high-rolling life is dismantled in the wake of his cousin’s murder, which sees his best friend arrested for the crime.
Personally, I’m not for Chace Crawford scruffiness. I like him clean cut. In one of the photos below, he could almost pass for a werewolf!

The Gossip Girl cast is currently taking a break from filming. I wonder what Chace plans to do with his free time?

Gossip Girl’s Chuck and Blair together on set

Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) and Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) film scenes together on set for an upcoming Gossip Girl episode.
From the previews, it looks like there will at least be some Chuck-Blair drama, though it doesn’t appear they will be a couple for at least the present time.
Doesn’t it seem like forever since our last new episode? New episodes return on Monday, March 16 on The CW.

Spotted: Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester during Fashion Week

Sporting somewhat of a new look with her hair, Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) was spotted at the Erin Wasson + RVCA presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Milk Studios on February 18 in New York City.
Her hair is longer and she’s wearing her bangs down (or so it seems). It’s a little different for her, but in a good way. She definitely did Blair Waldorf proud at the fashion show.

Here are some new on-set photos from New York City. The cast were all huddled up in winter jackets while filming around the Henry Street Settlement, a playhouse they are supposed to be filming at from Wednesday to Friday of this week. On hand for filming were Ed Westwick, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Taylor Momsen and Chace Crawford:

10, The Hamptons. I’m a sucker for location shots, especially when the location shots are as glam as the Hamptons. I think geography is such an important part of any show - if a show is well written, the setting isn’t just background, it’s an integral part of the show. In fact, I think setting is what made shows like Sex and the City and Gilmore Girls so iconic.
