Last week, the Gossip Girl cast returned to the set to start filming season three.

Here is a video (with no sound) showing Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) and Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) filming a scene.

Chuck, dressed to the hilt in a suit, is talking on a cell phone while he helps Blair out of the car. Blair is wearing a gorgeous silver (or is it gold?) dress, as they walk down the street. Wonder who Chuck is talking to?

These videos (below the jump) shows a few more photos of Chuck and Blair together during that day of filming, and they hold hands at one point. Also on the video is Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald).

Leighton Meester arrived on the Gossip Girl set Monday wearing a sexy off-the-shoulder tie-die shirt with jeans, later changing her outfit for filming to an adorably cute floral dress.

Also spotted on set were her Gossip Girl co-stars Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Blake Lively.

Our favorite Gossip Girl stars are back on set filming for season three!

Ed Westwick (Chuck) and Leighton Meester (Blair) look pretty happy in the photos taken on the set in New York City on Monday. I wonder what their script reads like though? Are they happy and getting along? I love Blair’s very summery floral dress and it seems to go well with Chuck’s outfit.

In the photo below, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford (Nate) admire a red Ferrari. According to Pacific Coast News, Chuck gives Nate the car.

The Gossip Girl cast returned to the set this week to start filming season three.

Thankfully, our Gossip Girl guys, including Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick shaved before returning to set! In fact, Chace’s hair is completely different. His hair is pushed back and is a more styled it seems.

I wonder what Chuck Bass will be doing this season? He’s always up to mischief so it should be interesting now that he’s out of high school. The world is practically at his feet.

As you probably know, Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, is the lead singer of a new band called The Pretty Reckless. During her break from Gossip Girl filming (which has now resumed) she toured with The Veronicas.

A blogger named “Wanderling” attended The Veronicas/The Pretty Reckless concert on Saturday in Vancouver along with fellow blogger friend Eyeliah. Pictured above is Wanderling posing with Momsen.

Wanderling has allowed me to share some of the photos she took at the concert.

Here’s her thoughts on the concert:

“… T Mom completely blew me away. I mean, I went in there expecting crap and she actually had a pretty rad band, a wicked smokey voice and cool stage presence. Let’s not forget…THE GIRL IS ONLY 15 YEARS OLD!” Wanderling wrote on her blog.

After the concert she bought a Pretty Reckless tee and got Taylor to sign it.

Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, was spotted on the red carpet on June 22 at the Los Angeles premiere of “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen” at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California.

While her dress to me totally rocks and fits her rocker-girl image (it’s kinda got that Madonna look to it), I absolutely ADORE her lace-up heels.

Taylor has spent her summer touring with her new indie-rock band Pretty Reckless tearing up the stage. I’ll upload photos of her rockin’ and video later today.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) made an appearance at MTV studios for “It’s On with Alexa Chung” this week, talking about her music career and the upcoming release of Cobra Starship’s new video “Good Girls Go Bad” which features Meester singing with the group.

During the video, members of Cobra Starship join her for the interview and an clip from the video, which will be released Monday, is shown.

You’ll notice there was no mention of the supposed Leighton Meeter “sex tape.” I don’t blame her for not answering questions. This was really the wrong time for that (if there ever is a right time). But hopefully the media hoopla over Michael Jackson and Farrah Faucett deaths will make the story disappear from the headlines.

Wow! This exciting news!

Entertainment Weekly is reporting Privileged star Joanna Garcia will play a four-episode arc on Gossip Girl as a love interest for Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford).

Garcia will guest star as Bree Buckley, a “slightly evil” beauty queen type from a “conservative Southern family,” according to EW.

And she’s not wasting any time showing up either: Garcia will appear on the first episode of Gossip Girl’s third season on Monday, September 14.

I can see a lot of potential for this relationship for Nate. If they give her some character traits like in Privileged, she will be funny and spunky.

As far as “slightly evil,” does that mean she will be butting heads with someone? Maybe Vanessa (Jessica Szohr)? Or will Vanessa even be on Nate’s radar when Gossip Girl returns?

Sadly, Privileged was canceled by The CW in May and won’t be returning in the fall.

In case you were caught up in rumors that Gossip Girl was casting for someone that would break up our beloved new couple Chuck and Blair (Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester), don’t worry.

According to Watch with Kristin on E! Online, Chuck and Blair “aren’t breaking up anytime soon.”

Hopefully, the Gossip Girl writers will give Chuck and Blair together time to work. I know at one point, Chuck said he couldn’t imagine “Chuck and Blair going to the movies,” but I hope they DO let us see them together do something more than fight.

I mean, we know they will have to “grow,” and we don’t want them to be boring together, but this is CHUCK AND BLAIR, so let the characters do their magic and it should all work out. In the long term, who knows what will happen between them. I just want to see them try.

In fact, Ed Westwick agrees. He recently said on a red carpet interview, that he wants the couple to “give it a go.”

And just as I am a big fan of Chuck and Blair, I know there are fans of other Gossip Girl couples out there as well.

Those of you who are fans of Blair and Nate, are you hoping that Nate and Serena end up together or do you like Nate with Vanessa? I know on a past poll, many people wanted Nate and Jenny to try again.

Personally, I just want Jenny to have a boyfriend. She needs something else besides school and fashion. She needs a love life like everyone else.

Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford (Nate) atended the 8th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles on June 8.

Crawford still has his  scruffy beard at the moment, though it does look better than it did while he was filming the Twelve movie about a month ago. He does look good in his suit though. I’m just ready for a clean-shaven Crawford to return.
