Though Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) will be back to torture Blair in college for the first couple of episodes of season 3 of Gossip Girl, Trachtenberg also has a major part in a new fall NBC show called Mercy.

In Mercy, Trachtenberg’s character Chloe is pretty much the opposite of Georgina. Chloe Payne is an idealistic new nurse at Mercy hospital, straight out of college. The new medical drama’s point of view is from the lives of the nurses.

Nurse Veronica Callahan (Taylor Schilling, Dark Matter) returns to Mercy from a military tour in Iraq, having seen more than you can imagine.

Veronica, along with fellow nurses Sonja Jimenez (Jaime Lee Kirchner, Rescue Me) and Chloe navigate the daily traumas and social landminds of life and love both inside and outside the hospital.

The cast also includes: James Tupper (Men in Trees) as Dr. Chris Sands, a new doctor at the hospital who complicates Veronica’s life; Diego Klattenhoff (Supernatural) as Mike Callahan, Veronica’s husband; and Guillermo Diaz (Weeds) as Nurse Angel Lopez.

As the second season of Gossip Girl nears the end, we should prepare ourselves for plenty of “OMG” moments.

On the upcoming Monday, April 27 episode on The CW, 2.22 “Southern Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg, “17 Again”) returns to the Upper East Side after undergoing a major transformation. Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Nate (Chace Crawford) find their friendship at a major crossroads over Blair (Leighton Meester). Serena (Blake Lively) finds her relationship with Gabriel (guest star Armie Hammer) growing more complicated (because he obviously has something up his sleeve with Poppy Lifton!)

I think this will be the episode that will knock Gossip Girl back up to the top. Just the Chuck-Blair teaser above is enough for me! But Georgina too!

Newsweek just put up this great insightful and fun video interview with Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg, who plays Georgina Sparks. The interview called "7 Things You Didn’t Know about Michelle Trachtenberg" first explains why she enjoys playing an "evil" character, noting you’ve done a good job as an actor or an actress if people walk up to you and tell you they hate you.

Here’s the seven thing you didnt know about Michelle:

• Michelle hates peanut butter. If you are dating her, plan to brush your teeth if you just ate a peanut butter sandwich.
• She’s not the camping type.
• The Gossip Girl cast is like a big family, there’s no drama on set.
• She can speak Russian pretty fluently, though pretty general stuff, not politics.
• She doesn’t know how to vacation. She would rather be working … and holding her Blackberry tightly.
• She’s a big House fan and was thrilled to guest star on it.
• The boys didn’t like her in high school. They were mean to her. On her new movie "17 Again," she says she was asked if she would want to relive high school. Absolutely no, she says. Wisdom comes with age she says.

Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) and Michelle Trachtenberg (bad girl Georgina Sparks) were spotted arriving to the TopShop VIP Party at Balthazar in New York City Tuesday night. The event was in celebration of the new Topshop store in NYC.

Momsen was fashioned in a cropped black leather jacket (awesomely cool!), black top, super-hot pink mini skirt and fishnet stockings.

Trachtenberg also wore a black leather jacket over a short sparkly black, gold and green hip-hugging dress.

The event was hosted by Sir Philip Green which drew celebrities ranging from Jimmy Fallon to Emma Roberts for a private dinner and a look at the UK-based fashion outlet’s designs.

Other celebrities on hand included: Michelle Monaghan, Emily Mortimer and Santigold.

The grand opening of the new 40,000-square-foot store was held today with Kate Moss cutting the ribbon.

Michelle Tratchenberg (Georgina Sparks) has spent the week on the Gossip Girl set and is looking pretty good!

She definitely looks like one of the “mean” girls, though Georgina is not by any standard in their category of “mean.” She’s actually meaner — or at least she was in Season One.

Michelle looks nice in the fushia outfit with her matching Gossip Girl-style headband and handbag.

Michelle Trachtenberg (Georgina Sparks), Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) and Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) were spotted on the Gossip Girl set Monday, March 9 at the Palace Hotel.

I wonder if the “new” Georgina will be trusted by Blair and Nate. Surely not. Or maybe she will earn their trust.

I love Blair’s matching scarf and purse and Georgina’s boots.
