Verizon spoiler for Gossip Girl finale

May 15, 2009 by Cheril Vernon

Rufus (Matthew Settle) is still ticked off at Lily (Kelly Rutherford) in this Verizon Wireless spoiler video for the season 2 finale of Gossip Girl, “The Goodbye Gossip Girl.” Here, Rufus realizes that they already reserved seats together for the graduation ceremony.

I think the dude might have a heart attack if he doesn’t calm down soon! I know he’s pretty young, but carrying around that much stress is not good for you!

Cyrus (Wallace Shawn) and Eleanor (Margaret Colin), try to tell them - not knowing they are having troubles - to take the plung. “Marry before it’s too late,” Cyrus tells the unhappy couple.

But Rufus is mad at Lily for trying to bail him out secretly from the Poppy Lifton money scam and for putting her daughter Serena (Blake Lively) in jail to teach her a lesson.

In the finale, we are supposed to get our first glimpse at the love child of Rufus and Lily, ya know, the one they were told that died? Spoilers have said that the “love child” will be in the episode before he is revealed, so watch out for extra people in the show.

Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford (Lily Bass) will get to take her son Hermes, 2, to New York where the show is filmed for the next few months following a court decision today in Santa Monica, California, according to People magazine.

Raging in a pretty intense custody battle with estranged husband Daniel Giersch over their son, the outcome was fairly equal on both sides.

According to People, the court ruled Friday that while Rutherford can take her son to New York until the end of March, Giersch will be in the city while she is working and they will have a schedule to share custody. Giersch had wanted the child to stay with him in L.A.

The judge also ordered both parents to visit L.A. once in February and March.

When asked if she plans to stay on good terms in Giersch, Rutherford told reporters “yes.”

Rutherford is pregnant with their second child.

The judge also ordered that both parents visit L.A. once in February and March.

Another hearing is planned for April 6, according to People.

Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford facing custody battle

January 22, 2009 by Cheril Vernon

It looks like things are a little difficult right now for Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford (Lily Bass).

Rutherford filed for divorce recently, but she and her estranged husband Daniel Giersch are now facing each other in a heated custody case.

The two attended a hearing Wednesday in Santa Monica, Calif. and will testify on Thursday, according to US Magazine. A judge will decide if Rutherford can take their son Hermes, 2, to the Gossip Girl set in New York City at least through March.

Both are alleging anger issues at each other. He alleges she once threw a laptop at him (which her rep denies, according to US Magazine). She says she’s had to call the police on him because she’s scared of him.

The judge also will make a ruling Thursday on closing the hearing to the media.

Complicating the matter is Rutherford is four months pregnant with their daughter.

Both want sole custody of Hermes, with monitored visitation.

I hope the best for Rutherford as it must be stressful dealing with this while pregnant and while filming.

Kelly Rutherford, who plays Lily Bass on Gossip Girl, filed for divorce Friday from her husband of two years, Daniel Giersch, according to US Magazine.

Rutherford is pregnant with the couple’s second child. According to the paperwork submitted to the court, the actress cites irreconcilable differences, US Magazine reported.

Personally, I wish her the best during what must be an extremely difficult time.

On Gossip Girl, Lily Bass is mom to Serena (Blake Lively) and Eric (Connor Paolo) van der woodsen. Now that Bart Bass has passed away, Lily is free to reconnect with old flame Rufus Humphrey (Matthew Settle), only an old secret is keeping them apart.

The new Gossip Girl episode “It’s a Wonderful Lie” was really an awesome episode in many ways because there was so much going on between several sets of characters — Chuck and Blair (drama), Dan and Serena (jealousy), Serena and Aaron (boring!), Dan and Lexi (chemistry), Rufus and Lily (cute!), Lily and Bart (drama), and the whole Nate, Vanessa and Jenny triangle. Add in a cameo appearance by Olympic gold star medalist Nastia Liukin, and you’ve got a packed episode full of juicy gossip!

In the pictures below, it was almost as if the wardrobe was its own character! I love Serena and Blair’s dresses. And these pictures are all keepers — from the one below of Dan and Serena having jealous issues to Lily and Rufus dancing together.

What photo do you like the best? Make up a caption to go with one of the photos and I’ll use them in a future post (keep them clean, please).

Actress Kelly Rutherford (Lily on Gossip Girl) attended the 36th annual International Emmy Awards recognizing excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States on November 24 in New York City.

She’s a very beautiful woman but these pictures really don’t do her justice. I think I like it better when her hair is down. (More after the jump).
