Chace Crawford joined fellow entertainment celebrities and former professional athletes who participated in the fourth Annual DIRECT TV Celebrity Flag Football Game on South Beach, Florida on Saturday.

The event was televised and a variety of who’s who of the entertainment world and former and current NFL athletes went head to head in front of a crowd of thousands. Gossip Girl co-stars Jessica Szhor and Ed Westwick also attended the event.

Szhor was a member of one of the teams which included several other celebrities including: Twilight’s Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz, Gossip Girl co-stars Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford, Jennifer Lopez, the Wayans Brothers, Marisa Miller, Nancy O’Dell, Brian McKnight and Michael Clarke Duncan.

Only Chace Crawford could be dressed in a orange jumpsuit and still sound like a hunk (and be a cartoon!)!

Crawford made a voice appearance on tonight’s episode of Family Guy on FOX. He played the role of Luke, Meg’s jail bird boyfriend in the “Dial Meg for Murder” season 8, episode 11.

Here’s a good fan video of Gossip Girl couples – Chuck and Blair, Serena and Nate, and Dan and Vanessa.
The clips of Chuck and Blair (Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester) are mostly from season one, while the Dan and Vanessa  (Penn Badgley and Jessica Szhor) clips are from this season (season three). The Serena and Nate (Blake Lively and  clips are a mix of season one and season three).

Several members of the Gossip Girl cast were seen on set Wednesday in New York filming scenes for season 3. The best part for them is that it was sunny for a change!
New episodes will start back up on Monday, March 8!

Gossip Girl returns (can’t wait!) on March 8. I hope when Gossip Girl returns, we get to see Nate and Serena’s romance heat up. And I especially hope we get to see Serena show appreciation for how devoted Nate has been to her.

Serena (Blake Lively) and Nate (Chace Crawford) are definitely becoming a couple on Gossip Girl, but don’t look for it to be a peaceful journey.

New spoilers coming say little Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) plans to cause trouble for the new couple, turning it into a “love triangle.”

For the last few episodes of Gossip Girl, Nate (Chace Crawford) has been pining for Serena (Blake Lively), even expressing his feelings for her at one point. But Serena had an infatuation with Nate’s cousin Tripp, which stood in the way.
