Nicole Richie NOT coming to Gossip Girl

Though the rumors were flying around yesterday, E! has confirmed with Nicole Richie’s rep that she is not in talks to guest star on Gossip Girl, according to Richie Fan.
The rumor: A friend said Richie wanted to play a “bitchy” role on Gossip Girl.
While E! did talk to Richie’s rep, calls to The CW were not returned.
Richie Fan had a good idea if they really did decide to cast Richie in the future:
“Maybe she could play someone’s older sister or a twentysomething socialite Serena pals around with?”

Oooh, thanks for the props! I’d love to see Nicole on Gossip Girl and it’s one of the more plausible guest star rumors (for both Nicole and Gossip Girl) I’ve heard. But Nicole’s rep is usually pretty sly-a flat out denial is a good sign it’s a no go.
