24 Hours of Gossip Girl Moments: #22

Nan Zhang doesn’t return to Gossip Girl.

Okay, not such monumental news – except for the back story.

Rumor has it that Nan Zhang, the actress who played Kati Farkas, was not a favorite of Leighton Meester.

Nan claims that she left the series to go back to school. She did so while the cast was on hiatus during the strike – with no official word to the show’s producers.

But insiders claim that Leighton pushed her out.

Not believable to me – Nan was such a minor cast member. But then, I’m not on set.
