Paris Hilton Joins the Cast of Gossip Girl
Socialite Paris Hilton will join the cast of Gossip Girl as Serena van der Woodsen’s former Swiss boarding school chum, Heidi.
Producers have brought the character of Heidi to the show to stoke lukewarm ratings and to drum up publicity for the re-premiere this season. However, if Hilton’s film work is any indication of her popularity as an actress, the stunt will likely be a ratings disaster.
The CW is staying mum on their plans for Heidi’s character. Will Heidi make a play for Dan in an effort to make Serena jealous? Not likely. Even on a fictional TV show, Hilton would not associate with someone from Brooklyn.
When asked to comment about her appearance on the show, Hilton replied simply, “That’s hot.”

That’s a good joke (make sure you read the last line of the post!) - but it’s not totally unimaginable - it could happen.
No doubt that Paris would be cast as Vanessa’s half-sister - she got a lot of experience “roughing it” on the Simple Life.
