Want to be a Wedding Planner?

It’s a contest!

In anticipation of the Gossip Girl wedding this season, I thought it would be fun to plan the wedding ourselves!

So here’s how it works.

There will be SIX categories:

Location & Invitations
Flowers & Decorations
Music
Dress & Ring
Food & Drink
Honeymoon

Each week, I’ll post the topic for planning on Sunday - the first week, for example, it will be Invitations.

Send me your ideas for the best in each topic - the best invitations, for example - by midnight EST on Tuesday. You can either describe your ideal (be as detailed as possible) or submit artwork that illustrates your ideal.

I’ll choose my top three favorites in that category to post on Wednesday and the readers will vote on those three choices by posting their votes in the comments. The submission that receives the most votes/comments by 11:59 pm EST on Saturday wins in that category.

I’ll choose an overall winner randomly from those who submitted the winning entries in each of the SIX categories. If you win more than one category, you will be entered more than once. The overall winner will receive the Gossip Girl boxed set.

Here are the official rules:

1, Entries must be sent via email with “Gossip Girl Wedding” in the subject line to gossipgirlcontest@mac.com by 11:59pm EST on each Tuesday.

2, Posts must be in English.

3, Format: Plain Text (either as a text file or just typed directly in the body of the email) or PDF. Scans or artwork must be in JPG. No other attachments or formats will be accepted.

4, You must include your full name and your email address with your entry. I won’t publish your email address, but I do need contact information for the winning entry. I respect your privacy, and I will not send you anything unrelated to your entry in this contest.

5, You can enter the contest as many times as you’d like, as long as each submission is unique.

6, By entering the contest, you agree that b5media may post any part or all of your submission, including your name, as a part of the contest announcements or promotions, with the exception of your email address.

7, By entering the contest, you agree that all works submitted on your behalf are original and belong to you or you declare that you have the right to submit those works. You may not submit images or ideas that are not your own or that you do not have permission to submit.

8, All decisions related to finalists in each category are in my sole discretion and are final.
