Gossip Girl Report

I think Taylor Momsen is adorable. And I usually like how her character, Jenny, dresses on Gossip Girl.

Which makes me wonder: what in the world happened here?

It almost works. Almost.

It looks like she was channeling Blair Waldorf and veered off slightly into crazy bag lady.

What do you think? Works for you?

Something about it makes me totally love it. The socks are a bit much though. But its cute, very new Blair kind of thing going on

For me, it’s the bag and the headband that put it over the edge.

She’s definitely channeling Blair - For me though, take away one of the bows/ties in the front - swap out a coordinating bag and lose the socks - or at least the color - But Blair is also an ignorer of the “never were tights/socks darker than your shoes” rule -

I agree that Blair’s character tends to be avant garde with her preppiness - and it usually works for her. I just think that Taylor took it a wee bit too far here.

I also think it’s age inappropriate. For a 14 year old, it’s a bit too much “Sex and the City” meets “Gossip Girl.”

I luv the outfit its really working together but the COLOR of the bag and headband through it all helter kelter maybe if they were black with red stitching or just black all together it would look great
