Gossip Girl Revealed?
The New York Daily News is claiming to know the identity of Gossip Girl.
As viewers of the show well know, the identity of Gossip Girl is a big secret. In fact, Gossip Girl is only known on the show by the voice over, well done by Kristen Bell, formerly of the CW’s Veronica Mars and now on Heroes.
So what do the folks at the New York Daily News think?

The New York Daily News is reporting that Gossip Girl is Eric van der Woodsen, Serena’s younger brother.
It’s plausible - remember that he said that he listened in on her conversations?
But I’m not buying it.
I don’t think he had the opportunity to be a successful narc while in rehab. And no matter how angry he might be at Serena, he wouldn’t do the kind of damage to her that Gossip Girl has done.
And then there’s the matter of the books. While the TV series has taken serious liberties with the plot line in terms of deviating from the books, this is one storyline that I don’t think they’d corrupt. In the original GG book series, the identity of GG is not revealed. Why would the producers choose to reveal the identity in the first season of the show?
And more interesting, in the books, there’s a bit where it’s intimated that GG is really Serena. This makes more sense to me.

it couldn’t have been chuck- because in one episode- chuck wrote into gossip girl about blair, and it couldn’t have been eric- he would never ruin his sister like that- as well as it couldn’t be serena- because why would she spill rumors about herself- very first episode for instance- unless that girl truely strives for attention that much- it couldn’t be, she’s to down to earth. ever wonder if it could be vanessa? that or well, jenny doesn’t seem like she could pull any of that off- because first of all she reads gossip girl.net - so

I think that it is Jenny she is in the circle just enough to get the dirt but far enough away that no one would suspect her. It could be chuck but I highly doubt that while he is conniving it just seems more logical that it would be someone who is innocent like jenny making her the perfect candidate for the role.

I agree with Lo.Also, it couldn’t be Blair..because why would she tell rumours about her having sex with 2 guys in a week.
If they were to reveal GG,I’m voting for Kristen Bell for the new cast.

it can’t be serena because she was gone for awhile, and there was still a gossip girl. she wouldn’t have been there to spread all of the gossip. and if gossip girl started when she got back, how would everyone know the website

I personally think the writer of the books didn’t even choose who gossip girl rly is,i think shes just there to give oout info and keep u followed up on wats going on after each chapter

I remember seeing on the credits that the voice is kirsten bell. but, i think the insider is chuck.

We dont really know who it is, i didnt even realize it was Kristin Bells voice. That’s so weird, lol. BUT, i dont think it’s Eric, OR vanessa. cause Vanessa just came back. She didnt even know who Serena was or any of Dans friends that goes to that school. Maybe it’s Jenny, because she’s a little suspicious. i agree with Carmellie. it is Jenny >:O
first, she knows SERENA. because her brother has been in love with her.
who else were at the train place? serena, that chick who took the picture, dan, his dad, and jenny.
but its weird cause they all send the new info they get to gossip girl. idk who it is. but this short is def worth me spending an hour to watch it.

I think we need veronica mars to come back and solve this mystery hahaha kidding.
In regards to the books, i used to think it was Serena but i think most people i right in guessing that the author doesnt actually have a character playing gossip girl.

Jenny. My Complete Opinion ! Erik May Be A Tiny Bit Possible, But As Another Person Has Said, He Wouldn’t Wreck His Sister Like That. Jenny Is A Pro Sneak.
