What Makes an It Girl?
There’s a lot of speculation that the Jenny story line from the last episode may be the beginning of her “evolution” into the It Girl.
In the books, Jenny reinvents herself after a series of poor choices (I won’t give anymore away) at a new school. She wants to become the It Girl.
So, of course, I started thinking: What makes an It Girl? Dissing the Queen B? Being pretty? Being fashionable? Hanging out with right people? Is Paris Hilton an It Girl? Or just a party girl? What’s the difference?

an it girl is someone who is nice to every one and is fun 2 be around. people think that a it girl has to be pretty but i don’t think so i think they just have to be a good friend and fun to be around.

an “it girl” is a girl who everyone hates, but everyone sucks up to. no has to like them, but they act like everyone does. they feel as though they are the queens and rule the school. they make fun and tease others because of their self confidence is low. everyone wants to be one until they actually are

“it” girls dont have to be like blair and be all bosy and mean…….they could be nice and they are probably very outgoing and people just want to be around you…..i should know cuz at my skool i am a so called “it” girl……well i dont think so but i my friends do so…who knows

ok mabey i am not an “it” girl (really i dont think i am but my friends told me i am at should say i am so…..)like blair or serena….i would say i am more like serena if anything b/c she is just fun to be around…….i go to a privet school so i guss i am kinnda like serena the good 1 not the bad 1 ;)

the “it girl” … i guess is like the one everybody loves…and feel jelaous of her, not because what she has or how mean she acts, just her confidence… and her knowledge of how rely on others when u can have everything, hang out with the right ppl but stay cool with the wrong.
have a picky life and clothing style
have the best but always wish better.
kiss & never tell, listen and never believe, leave before she’s left…
meaning: a self-suficient independent girl :)

an “it girl” is a girl who can handle herself. she is nice and gets along well but knows her way around all people, good, and bad. she doesn’t get too involved with problems but if they appear she can handle them. it is being a quote on quote Queen Bee but a different version. a version that…..doesn’t take other people for granted because of her power. a version that seems more real. you see she has emotions and problems and lives life like any other person but does it in a way that people look up to. her confidence and smile seem so flawless but you know that a real person is inside…

An IT GIRL is someone who walks into the room and people feel compelled to look at. People notice her hair, clothes, ways, accesories, etc. and copy. They gossip about her, try to bring her down from where she stands, but at the end she truimphs. I guess thats pretty fictional but anyway I could say aerin lauder or carlotta casiraghi are it girls. I’d kill to be an it girl, but to be an it girl you have to have THE personality, not sure I have THAT personality. I hope I win.
