If so, you won’t see them this year on the Golden Globes. The awards show has officially been canceled due to pressure from the Writer’s Guild.
Variety has confirmed that due to a threatened picket - and a concern that nominees would not cross the picket line to attend the ceremony - the show has been canceled. Instead, the winners in 25 film and TV categories will be announced in a press conference format, aired on NBC.
Drat. No Blake Lively in a cool dress? No Chace Crawford in a tux (perhaps accompanied by Carrie Underwood?). What is the world coming to?
