“Victor, Victrola” Recap

Burlesque is in - and Chuck sees it as the perfect opportunity to impress his father. Things do not, however, go as planned.

Serena and Dan make out in front of the school. Serena into PDA? I don’t think so.

Nate confronts his father about the drugs. They promise to discuss it later. So, Nate seeks out Jenny to talk about Blair. Blair reminds Jenny that she doesn’t like secrets.

Lily and Bart are dating. Chuck knows but Bart warns him not to tell Serena. Lily wants to tell Serena first. But Chucks knows Bart’s secret: there are other women.

Jenny loses her very expensive bracelet (on loan). Lucky for her (?) Blair finds it.

Serena and Blair discuss Serena having sex with Dan. They haven’t (yet). Apparently, it’s because Dan is still a virgin. Serena doesn’t know and is very aggressive - while they’re making out, Vanessa shows up via the fire escape. Dan shows her the door but she comes back in to watch/listen. Later, Dan and Serena make out again and Rufus comes home. Today is not the day.

Nate witnesses his father involved in a drug deal.

Chuck drinks too much because of his feelings toward his father. Lily finds Chuck on the sidewalk and takes pity on him. Chuck, seeking revenge on his father, tells Lily about his father’s indiscretions - which turn out not to be as Chuck thought.

Nate confronts his mother about his father’s drug use. At first, she refuses to admit that the drugs belong to his father; later, she blames Nate for his problems.

Vanessa catches Dan watching porn and teases him about Serena. She is soooo into him.

Blair waxes on to Jenny about Nate. She mentions to Jenny that she believes that Nate is going to propose. Blair believes that Jenny is jealous. Jenny confesses to Blair that Nate kissed her at the ball thinking that she was Serena. Shortly after, she pops downstairs to the “celebratory dinner” where Blair’s mother believes Nate is to propose.

Rufus realizes that Dan is going to have sex with Serena. He and Dan have an awkward father/son moment.

Speaking of father/son moments, Chuck and Bart agree to the partnership on burlesque club while Nate and Captain have a brawl on the street. The police arrive and Nate advises the police to check his father’s pockets. Nate pays the doorman to kept quiet, unaware that Blair watches the whole thing from the window. When she comes downstairs, Blair asks him if he loves her - Nate can’t answer. Blair leaves and goes to Chuck’s burlesque club. She’s in a mood and heads onstage on a dare. Chuck is floored. Blair and Chuck make out in the limo.  How far do they go?

Dan and Serena plan to have sex at Dan’s apartment. Dan is nervous and Serena confesses that she is scared of her feelings for Dan. They don’t have sex and instead, just cuddle.

Rufus figures out that Lily has broken up with Bart when she shows up at the gallery. He pretends to be angry but is clearly secretly pleased.

Nate’s father is arrested and it turns out that the charges are more than Nate thought.  He is charged with embezzlement and other charges - his bail is set for more than $1 million.
