Win an Amazon Gift Certificate!

by Kelly on November 6th, 2007

The b5media Entertainment blogs, this blog included, are holding a contest for you, the readers!  The prize is a $30 Amazon Gift Certificate (perfect for ordering the Gossip Girl prequel, coming out soon).

To enter, simply leave a comment on this post before November 20, 2007 at 2pm PST, remembering to fill out the email field with a valid email address.  And while you’re not required to leave a comment on a particular item, I think it’s weird to not have a topic so I’m throwing one out…  Who is your favorite character on Gossip Girl?  And feel free to say why!

The contest is open to US, UK, and Canadian residents. One entry per person only. You can leave your entry comment on any of the contest announcement posts on b5media’s blog (but really, don’t you want to leave it here?) The winner will be drawn randomly from a list of all comments left on all Entertainment blogs.

And don’t forget to check out b5media’s new Entertainment portal, Spekked.com. Here you can find all the latest news from all our sites, including a special new section on Spoilers!

My fave character from the show by far is Dan … and the actor that plays him too! But I didn’t really like him in the books, I can’t remember who I favored when reading, but I know it wasn’t him.

Yeah, in the books, he wasn’t as soulful. Sigh.

Dan is my favorite too, because he’s a combination of Seth and Ryan from the OC. Yes, I’m still hung up on the OC.

Serena, hello? She makes the role of the ‘popular girl’ human-she’s gorgeous and smart but obviosuly has feelings too and tries to be a good person, not some uber-bitch..at least that’s how i see it.

I think my favourite character is Serena definately. In the books i loved her and i think that Blake Lively does a wonderful job of portaying her in the tv series. She is so effortlessly gorgeous, the girl that every girl aspires to be!

everyone forgot about jenny. i luv her because we have some things in commen. like we are both the underdogs, except i have loads of friends. we all fight mean girls (hers is blair mine is a girl named emily) we both strive to be people that we aren’t. she cares if she gets in, i don’t really. i think that we all have some jenny in us

I agree with you, Kailey. I think everybody - even the Emilies and Blairs of the world - has some Jenny in them. Everyone wants to be liked.

Dan’s always a fave. Blair is so bad, she’s good! But Serena takes the cake!

My favorite character from the Gossip Girl show is Serena. I like Serena because she’s really down to earth cool about everything and isn’t full of drama!

Blair is by far the best character. Sure, she’s a little bitchy, bossy…maybe even spoiled. But doesn’t she have a right to be? We all know we want to be her. As queen of the upper east side I think duty calls for someone who knows what they want…and gets it, too. ;)
