Mind-numbing or Mind-numbingly brilliant?
The folks at New York magazine’s Daily Intelligencer take on children’s book author Lesley M.M. Blume… and boy, do the sparks fly.
You can check out their piece “In Which We Defend the Honor of Gossip Girl” here as a response to Blume’s piece “15 Going on 50: How Gossip Girl is Killing Youth Culture.” Then come back and dish. Fair? Over the top? Does Gossip Girl really represent “nothing less than the soft death of youth culture and rebellion and self-determinism.”
Hmm. Let me think on this one. I’ll be back.
