The Fangs Are Out Already
Just days away from the premiere of CW’s Gossip Girl, the fur is already flying over whether the fall’s most talked about new show is actually worth the buzz… So far, the press has been reasonably good. But check out this scathing review on Reuters. While I grant you that some of the points are valid - most significantly, the matter of whether the posh lifestyle of Serena and her friends will be too, too much for the audience (it didn’t hurt 90210, Dynasty, Dallas and the multitude of sudsers before it) - to detract from the show based on the names of the cast (oh yea, the cast, not the characters) just reeks of a little desperate reporting. What do you think?
