Rihanna, Billboard’s Female Artist of the Year 2006, is nominated for a slew of awards at tonight’s MTV video music awards including Best Female Artist.
Set to perform tonight at the VMAs, her music will be heard on prime time TV again next week when it is featured on the premiere episode of Gossip Girl. Rihanna joins Fergie and Aqualung as performers who have been named as contributing music to the show.
