A Gossip Girl Primer: Lindsey Broad

Lindsey Broad is probably one of the least known actors on this season’s Gossip Girl – and has landed the role of Vanessa Adams. Her previous work includes a number of plays and a stint on the internet’s the Burg. Yeah, I had no idea what it was either… It’s actually a really clever concept. The show is an internet sitcom about Williamsburg, Brooklyn, described on the web site as “a once run-down neighborhood now transformed into the hippest corner of New York City.” The show debuted in June 2006 and will soon have a second season.
Lindsey’s other noteworthy achievement is as alum of Penn State University. Knowing how crazy loyal PSU fans can be, I suspect that Lindsey will have quite a following…
