A Gossip Girl Primer: Dan Humphrey

Oh admit it, you’re swooning, too.
Who could be sexier than a sensitive, soulful musician? Dan Humphrey fits the bill to a T.
Billed as writer/poet/musician, Dan has enjoyed some measure of success. He’s been published in The New Yorker; interned at the Red Letter (literary mag) and stood in as the front man for indie rock band, The Raves.
But does his success put him on par with the rest of the characters in Gossip Girl? Hardly. Dan doesn’t have money or society going for him. His world is completely outside of the rich, privileged worlds of Serena and her friends. The question this season will be: does that really matter?
